Who B1 is for
B1 builds on A2, so it is best after the A1 and A2 lessons. It is not locked: if any A2 lesson feels new, review it first at A2 Everyday Arabic.

What is new at B1
- Giving an opinion and a reason, using “because” (li’anna) and “so” (fa-).
- Telling a short story in order, with “at first”, “then”, “after that” and “finally”.
- Giving advice and suggestions with “must”, “it is better to” and “I suggest”.
Each lesson has phrases, listening with your browser voice, practice, a speaking task, a short conversation and a six-question quiz, the same shape as the A1 and A2 lessons.

Which Arabic is this?
B1 teaches Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), like A1 and A2. The Gulf word bank is a separate regional extension and is not part of B1.
