About HikmahBridge
A practical companion for learning, understanding and living Islam
HikmahBridge brings together the Qur’an, Hadith, Tafsir and practical guides in one place — built to be clear, honest about its sources, and useful in everyday life.
What HikmahBridge is
HikmahBridge is a growing library of Islamic learning resources and practical guides. It currently includes an interactive Qur’an reader with recitation, a step-by-step Qur’an reading and Tajweed course, the Tafsir of Ibn Kathir arranged by Surah and Ayah, a searchable Hadith library covering the six canonical collections, a private memorisation tracker, and a set of downloadable guides on worship, family life and new-Muslim foundations.
New sections are added over time. Each one is labelled with its real status — available, in development, or planned — so you always know what is finished and what is still in development.
Why it exists
Many people want to learn their religion but find the material scattered across many places, inconsistent in quality, or hard to trace back to a source. HikmahBridge exists to gather reliable, clearly-sourced material in one place and present it in plain language — so that learning can lead to understanding, practice and reflection, not just more information.
Learning with care
HikmahBridge is an educational resource, not a substitute for a qualified teacher. For personal rulings, family or legal matters, or anything that needs a considered judgement about your own situation, we encourage you to consult a knowledgeable scholar in your context.
Islam has a long tradition of legitimate scholarly difference. Where a matter is disputed among mainstream scholars, we try to present it as a point of difference rather than assert a single answer.
How content is selected
- Qur’an text and translations come from established open Qur’an datasets and are shown as supplied.
- Hadith text, translations and gradings are taken from published collections, shown as supplied, and attributed to the source — HikmahBridge does not grade Hadith itself.
- Tafsir is presented from a named digital edition. It is not paraphrased, summarised by us, or AI-generated.
- Guides are written to reflect mainstream Sunni teaching and are reviewed before publication.
- Nothing is invented to fill a gap. Where verified material is not available, the section says so.
Sources and authenticity
Every major section names the dataset, edition or recording it draws from. A fuller account of how we handle the Qur’an, Hadith, Tafsir, fiqh, translation and audio — including how we deal with differences of opinion and how to report a correction — is on the Sources & Methodology page.
Sources are being progressively documented as this library expands.
