HikmahBridge is an Islamic learning platform designed to make structured learning easier to follow. It brings together Qur’an and Hadith resources, worship learning, New Muslim guidance, Islamic Studies, family learning, Hajj & Umrah resources, practice tools and free downloadable PDF guides. It is an educational resource, not a substitute for a qualified teacher or scholar. More about HikmahBridge.

Much of HikmahBridge is free to use, including the learning hubs, the Qur’an Reader, Tafsir and Hadith libraries, the Salah and Duas lessons, the free courses and the practice tools. Our downloadable PDF guides and bundles are free (S$0.00); no payment details are needed.

HikmahBridge is designed for Muslims who want practical, structured learning, including beginners, new Muslims, families and independent learners. Some resources are designed for parents teaching children. It does not replace qualified teaching for personal rulings or advanced study.

No. HikmahBridge provides general Islamic education. Where a question depends on your personal circumstances, or where recognised scholars differ, consult a qualified scholar who understands your situation.

The Start Here page suggests a path for your goal. If you are new to Islam, try the free New Muslim: First Steps course or the New Muslim Learning Path. If you are learning to pray, start with the free How to Pray course.

Yes. The Hifz tracker saves your progress privately in your own browser. It is not linked to an account and is not shared with anyone.

The Qur’an Reading & Tajweed course takes learners from Arabic letter recognition and basic reading through foundational Tajweed topics. Lessons 21–24 (the joining hamzah, stopping signs, ghunnah and merging letters) are the newest and are awaiting review by a qualified Qur’an teacher. Your progress is saved locally in this browser on this device. HikmahBridge is designed as a practice companion and does not replace correction from a qualified Qur’an teacher.

It follows the digital edition of Tafsir Ibn Kathir supplied by the source dataset, arranged by Surah and Ayah. Where the source has no entry for a particular ayah, the page says so rather than showing something else.

The Qur’an Reader shows the Uthmani Arabic text, the Saheeh International English translation and recitation from the reciter you select, all retrieved from the AlQuran Cloud service and shown as supplied. Translations are presented as translations, kept separate from the Arabic. Details are on the Sources & Methodology page.

No. Where a Hadith grading is displayed, HikmahBridge shows the grading supplied by the source dataset and attributes it to the scholar or source that supplied it. HikmahBridge does not independently assign Hadith grades.

Where mainstream scholars hold recognised differences, HikmahBridge aims to identify that difference rather than present one disputed position as the only Islamic answer. Personal rulings should be discussed with a qualified scholar.

Because the underlying source does not provide it — for example, several Hadith collections have no Roman-letter transliteration in the dataset. We show that gap honestly instead of generating a substitute.

“Sources checked” means the lesson’s references have been checked against the sources named for it; it is not scholarly approval. “Scholarly review: pending” means a qualified scholar has not yet reviewed the lesson. HikmahBridge shows these statuses separately, and only shows a scholar review once one has actually been recorded. Arabic Academy lessons carry a separate label, “not yet native-reviewed”. No. Qur’an text, Hadith text, source translations, source-supplied gradings and Tafsir displayed in the relevant libraries come from identified datasets or editions and are presented from those sources. HikmahBridge does not invent or independently generate those source texts.

Yes, in parts of the editorial and technical workflow. AI tools may help draft, structure or format explanatory lesson text, quiz questions and page copy, and help check that quotations match their sources. That text is source-checked, but this is not scholarly review, so lessons stay labelled “Scholarly review: pending”. Spoken Arabic in the Arabic Academy uses your device’s text-to-speech voice, not a human recording. See AI and source material.

Not currently. No suitable verified recording of this Tafsir in English was found, so English Tafsir audio is left out rather than replaced with something unverifiable.

No. It is a single full-surah Urdu narration and is labelled as such. It is offered as a listening resource for the whole Surah, not verse by verse.

No account is required for most free learning tools. Bookmarks, reading positions and learning progress are stored locally in your browser. An account is created for you when you claim a guide, so you can sign in and re-download it from My Account → Downloads.

Not currently. Browser-based progress stays on that device and browser. Clearing browser data can remove locally saved progress.

Not yet. An email newsletter is planned, but sign-up is not open and there is no subscription form on the site at the moment. When it opens, subscribing will be optional, you will be able to unsubscribe at any time, and the Privacy Policy explains how subscription data is handled. Until then, new lessons appear on the Learn hub.

Optional downloadable PDF guides and bundles on topics such as Salah, duas, Ramadan, marriage, parenting and new Muslim learning, all free (S$0.00). Each guide’s page lists the format, length and language before you check out. They are companions to the free lessons, not a replacement for them. Browse the guides.

After checkout, the download link appears on the order confirmation page and in your order email. Sign in to download it; the guide is also saved under My Account → Downloads. The Help page walks through each step.

Please report it through the Contact page. HikmahBridge reviews reported issues — such as incorrect source attribution, broken links, translation problems, unavailable media or incorrect status labels — and corrects confirmed errors.
