Welcome to the Duas and Adhkar Centre: authentic supplications for daily life, each with its Arabic text, a pronunciation guide, an English meaning, its source, and when to say it. The collection begins with two introductions: what dua is and why it matters, and dhikr, remembering Allah through the day. Then come the everyday supplications the Prophet, peace be upon him, said most often, and the duas for everyday moments: waking up, using the toilet, entering and leaving the home, and going to the mosque. After those are the morning and evening remembrances, and collections for particular moments: before sleep, for food and drink, for travel, for protection, for hardship and distress, for illness and visiting the sick, for debt and provision, at a death or in calamity, for forgiveness, for seeking knowledge, for parents, for spouse and children, for Ramadan, and for Hajj and Umrah. A note about the text on these pages. The Arabic is quoted from the Qur'an, or from the hadith collection named in each source line. The transliteration is a reading aid only. It cannot capture every sound of Arabic precisely, and the Arabic is always the reliable text. Where a supplication comes from a hadith, its collection and number are given so you can check it; HikmahBridge does not grade hadith itself. Each page has an English narration that explains when to say each supplication and what it means. The Arabic wording itself is not voiced, and is best learned by ear from a teacher or a verified recording.
