Start here. This page helps you choose a learning journey that fits your goal. Each journey lists the lessons and practice tools that already exist on HikmahBridge, in a sensible order, and says plainly what has not been written yet. There are twelve journeys. If you are new to Islam, the journey begins with the meaning of Islam and the Shahadah, and moves through the pillars and articles of faith to your first prayers, and where to find community. If you want to learn the Qur'an, you start with the Qur'an Reader, learn to recite well with a teacher, and then study meaning through commentary. If you want to improve your Salah, you work through purification, the prayer step by step, what to recite, and common mistakes, and then go further into prayers such as Witr, Jumu'ah, and the traveller's prayer. Other journeys cover studying Islam in a sensible order, through belief, law, the life of the Prophet, and character; learning Arabic; memorising the Qur'an; teaching your children; learning the Seerah; understanding Fiqh; preparing for Ramadan; preparing for Hajj or Umrah; and understanding Islamic finance. Each journey is laid out in stages: foundations, then learning, then practice, and then going further. Where something is not built yet, such as a surah-by-surah study layer, the journey tells you so, rather than pointing you to a page that does not exist. Pick the goal that fits you, and follow it at your own pace.
