Islamic Studies is a knowledge hub for exploring Islam through its foundational texts, sciences, history, law, spirituality and civilisation. It is being developed subject by subject, and every area carries an honest status: nothing is marked complete before it is. There are four ways in, depending on where you are. If you are a beginner, start with the Islam Basics lessons: what Islam is, who Allah is, the Prophet, the pillars, and the articles of faith. If you are ready to go deeper into one area, the Seerah, the life of the Prophet, is the most complete subject, with a timeline, seven full lessons, his character, and the Companions. If you want to follow the evidence and the scholarly discussion, the Aqeedah and Fiqh pages lay out the classical structure of each science, and link to fully written lessons. And if you want to work with the primary texts directly, use the Qur'an Reader, the Hadith Library and Tafsir Ibn Kathir, and read how sources are handled on this site. The core sciences currently available are Aqeedah, or belief; Fiqh, the law of worship and dealings, together with its roots; the Hadith Library; the sciences of the Qur'an; and Arabic and text sciences. Under prophetic knowledge, there is the Seerah, a section on the Prophet's character, and short, sourced introductions to ten of his Companions. The history and civilisation area is planned, and its outline is shown on the page. Choose the way in that suits you.
